November is Men’s Health Awareness Month, otherwise known as Movember. The Movember Foundation is a global charity dedicated to helping men live happier, healthier lives, and combines a physical fitness challenge with the unique opportunity to grow a moustache for charity.
Needless to say, some of our acts are already well ahead in the moustache game, as these photos show. (Please note that the moustaches on parade in these photos may not be the same today. Sizes and colours may vary. Do call us at Matters Musical and we will ensure your chosen act still features a robust quota of male facial hair!)
Mariachi El Mexicano
-
-
Top of the moustache parade has to be our mariachi bands, sporting the smoothest, coolest moustaches of them all!
The Boneshaker
-
-
This eclectic and borderline eccentric band play razzamatazz jazz and Latin numbers from the 1920s onwards.
Alan Tyler and the Lost Sons of Littlefield
-
-
Excellent country music rock band with some of the best sideburns in the business.
Shahid Khan
-
-
Our male Asian and Far East acts certainly win the best beards title by a long chalk. Asian classical and cross-over singer Shahid has trimmed his beard and moustache to pencil-line perfection!
Zulu Entertainers
-
-
The barely-there moustaches on these talented singers and dancers is more than compensated for by their traditional fur and feather outfits.
The Brothers Trim

At the end of Movember, a lot of chaps will no doubt be heading to the barbers for a clean shave. Boost your barbershop trade with a special post-Movember event, accompanied by a barber shop quartet, of course!
