Craigievar Ceilidh Band

The Craigievar Ceilidh Band play for ceilidhs, weddings, country dances, corporate events and reeling parties throughout the south. The band has been around since the 1980’s and is run by Stuart and Alistair Forbes who hail from Buckie, Banffshire.

They have performed in Caracas, Oman, San Francisco, Thessaloniki, Windsor Castle and have played for the Black Watch Summer Ball, as well as many local functions. For over twenty years they played at the Burns’ Night at the Watermill Theatre, Newbury and they have toured Scotland twice.

They appeared as the Scottish band at the Scottish wedding in Four Weddings and a Funeral and have done several corporate events at conference venues in recent years.
