Oh how we’ve missed live music gigs during lockdown!
Thankfully, lockdown continues to be eased in many parts of the country and as of 15th August we are now at Stage Four of the Government’s five stage roadmap to bring performing arts back safely, but what does that mean?
“Stage Four – Performances allowed indoors and outdoors (but with a limited socially-distanced audience indoors)”
You can now have a small gathering of less than 30 people at home as long as households (support bubbles) can remain socially distanced from each other. However, this should also be in line with the guidelines for meeting people from outside your household.
Businesses and venues that are following COVID-19 Secure guidelines can host larger groups.
You can now book indoor and outdoor performances (although outdoor performances are preferable).
Wherever possible, the 2m social distancing rule still applies, so you need to ensure a suitable sized audience for the venue to remain within the guidelines.
The audience should ideally remain seated and be discouraged from singing along during the performances.
Cleanliness and support contact tracing should also be maintained.

Our performers have been busy during lockdown adapting their performance options to meet the guidelines and we’re delighted that we can now offer a socially distanced Electro Swing Band.
The group are used to performing in larger groups but have adapted their performances so that everyone may still enjoy the band from their own home or as a socially distanced party.
Featuring line-ups with backing tracks from just a solo singer or duo with an instrument of choice, their compact line ups make the at-home experience portable and, more importantly, possible!
Now aided by a car boot loaded with a state of the art PA system, they can bring the band to your doorstep! In these unprecedented times, why should anyone have to miss out on the escapism and charm of professionally performed song and dance?
