Aurora | French songs and jazz standards's Bio
With her powerful and expressive voice and an extensive repertoire of famous French songs – from “Les Feuilles Mortes” (Autumn Leaves) to “La Mer” (Beyond The Sea) – Aurora takes you on a journey through Gay Paris, from the cobbled streets of Montmartre to the Parisian cafés with their old-fashioned charm and romance.
As well as well-known chanson classics by Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Yves montand, Aurora performs French flavoured numbers in English (“April in Paris”, “I love Paris”, “C’est Magnifique”) mixed with other jazz standards and Bossa Nova.
Aurora’s repertoire is varied enough for any British audience to enjoy it.
Aurora performs as a solo act, backed by high quality music tracks. Alternatively, she can sing accompanied by a pianist (duet), guitarist (trio), or even full band, by adding drums to the formation of all renowned and highly regarded jazz musicians.
A tour de force of French retro, Aurora will transport you back to the Paris of yesteryear for an evening of superb entertainment.

TESTIMONIALS
“A versatile, highly talented vocalist with a great personality, coupled with a solid work ethic and serious commitment to making each and every performance the best that it can be – Aurora is a rare find and a real pleasure to work with.”
Wild Willy Barrett (Musician and entertainer)
” The wonderful Aurora Trio brought the va-va-voom of a ‘Night in Paris’ to the Hertfordshire village of Kimpton. The 120 tickets had sold out inside two weeks and the audience was not disappointed. Exquisite vocals from Aurora, and stunning support from Terry Seabrook on keyboards and Andy Williams on jazz guitar, brought everyone to their feet, demanding repeated encores. It was a very special evening.”
Brian King (Kimpton Folk Festival)
“Fantastic, Excellent, Formidable, are only a few of the compliments received today about your performance, from the members of the Italian, French and Spanish Clubs.
Thanks to you, yesterday evening has been a huge success. You were, without a doubt, absolutely fantastic!”
Maryse Kelley (French Club for Adults, Hillingdon)
“Thank you for helping us celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.
I was so pleased that I booked you. You were fantastic and just what we needed for the occasion. Compliments abounded about you from the guests.”
Phil & Trish Marteen (Angmering, West Sussex)
“How do you turn a Village Hall into a Parisian café from yesteryear? Quite a challenge: Gingham tablecloths, twinkly tea lights, baguettes and cheese will only take you so far. The vital ingredient was, of course, the Aurora Trio!
Aurora took us on a delightful journey of French charm, romance and glamour. It wasn’t long before the audience was transported to an enchanting world of Parisian song and melody. Aurora’s vocal range and stage presence were captivating.
Nobly supported by Terry Seabrook and Andy Williams, the trio delivered a perfect blend of musical virtuosity and versatility, an enthralling tour de force of Gallic passion and intimacy. What a brilliant night!”
